Habit 1 - Be Proactive:  Principles of Personal Vision
	- Take control of your life.
	- Take the initiative.
	- Stop citing other people and your environment as the causes of your failures.
	- Proactive people focus their efforts in the Circle of Influence. 
	- Reactive people focus their efforts in the Circle of Concern.
	- Keep commitments and promises.

Habit 2 - Begin with the End in Mind:  Principles of Personal Leadership
	- Picture your ultimate goal.
	- All things are created twice:
		o First creation is mental
		o Second creation is physical
		o Leadership is the first creation.
			- Set the values of the team.
		o Management is the second creation.
			- Execute and embody the values.
		o Write a personal mission statement.
		o Be a principle-centered person.

Habit 3 - Put First Things First:  Principles of Personal Management
	- Prioritize your tasks.
	- Organize around your priorities.
	- Execute with disciple.
	- Quadrant II Management:
		o Identify roles
		o Select goals
		o Schedule
		o Adapt

Habit 4 - Think Win/Win:  Principles of Interpersonal Leadership
	- Find points of agreement.
	- Have integrity, maturity, and an abundance mentality.
	- See the other person's point of view. 
	- Identify the key issues, interests, and concerns.
	- Find a compromise.
		o Determine what results would constitute a fully acceptable solution.
	- Find other possibilities to achieve those results.

Habit 5 - Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
	- Be an excellent communicator.
	- Listen intently - emphatic listening.
	- Body language is important.
	- Persuasion requires:
		o Ethos  - credibility
		o Pathos - empathy
		o Logos  - logical rigor

Habit 6 - Synergize Principles of Creative Communication
	- Be open-minded to the influence of others.
	- Value differences.
	- Look for good in others.
	- Be gentle and sensitive in your communication so that others will be open-minded.

Habit 7 - Sharpen the Saw:  Principles of Balanced Self-Renewal
	- Physical  - exercise regularly
	- Spiritual - commit to a value system
	- Mental    - read good literature
	- Social    - build relationships
